Besides being a public representative of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), the primary purpose of being an Ambassador is to help new TACC members realize the value of their membership. As new members join the Chamber, each new member is assigned to an Ambassador. The Ambassador will then call the new member to accomplish the following:

Welcome the new member to the Torrance Chamber |
2. |
Verify the new member's contact information |
3. |
Understand why the new member joined the Chamber |
4. |
Help guide the new member to the appropriate TACC program that will help the new member achieve their objective for joining. |
To become an Ambassador, a member must be in good standing, has developed a track record of TACC involvement, and has demonstrated a good knowledge of how the TACC benefits its membership.
