South Bay Yellow Cab (SBY) has always been an active member of the community.  We have been a Chamber member for years; however, it was never really seen as such until we actively participated with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC).  Yes, there is a difference, a member as opposed to an active member.  It depends on what you hope to gain from your membership.  We have been both.  Simply becoming a member means that you have not taken advantage of your membership enough, while being an ACTIVE member will bring you more than you have bargained for.  Our active membership with TACC has provided us with the exposure and opportunity to build relationships with many of the businesses in Torrance.  TACC has provided us with a tremendous amount of visibility by allowing us to play an active roll in several of the programs offered.  We joined the Ambassador’s program which definitely helped fast track our business’s presence.  The best thing we gained from being an active member was all the friendships we built along the way.

The hardworking, efficient and trendsetting staff of the Chamber, under the leadership of Donna Duperron, President, and Chairman Mark Waronek, who have worked very hard to ensure that their members get the “Bang for their Buck!” have been great to work with.  Kudos to all of you!  We look forward to many more years of being an ACTIVE member of TACC!  Congratulations on your success!
