The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is the education-related umbrella for:

• Adopt-A-School
• State of Education Luncheon
• Mentor Progam
  

Since 1982, Torrance Unified School District and the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce have been involved in Adopt-A-School which is a partnership program between schools and the private sector. This cooperative enterprise helps to stimulate business, industry and government involvement in support of Torrance Unified School District and its students, faculty, and administration. The Chamber does not necessarily solicit financial contributions to the program, but rather matches resources of a business with the needs of education.

The annual State of Education luncheon provides the Torrance community with an opportunity to learn more about the current status of our schools. From budgeting issues to student test scores, this informative luncheon allows all of us to take a peek into the world of education.
