KBIZ (Korea Federation of SMEs) visits the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce office.

The Torrance Chamber recently hosted KBIZ (Korea Federation of SMEs), the largest legal economic organization representing over 3.5 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in South Korea. KBIZ plays a key role in supporting Korean SMEs through various initiatives, including international cooperation, business development, policy advocacy, and overseas partnerships.

Ten representatives from KBIZ expressed a strong interest in meeting with the Torrance Chamber to learn about how the chamber supports local businesses, explore potential collaboration opportunities, and better understand the local business environment.

Thank you to Larry Halvorsen, Chairman of the Board; Sacha Duncan, Incoming Chair; and Belma Demirovic Chinchoy for attending the meeting and exchanging information. Appreciation is also extended to Mayor George Chen, City of Torrance and Fran Fulton, Economic Development Manager, for their participation.
