Torrance Small Business Week, an extension of Small Business Saturday, serves as a critical launch into the holiday season for many local, small businesses. This national celebration was founded in 2010 by American Express and officially co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) since 2011.

This year, 61 small businesses are actively participating in Small Business Week by offering discounts for their businesses during the week of Saturday, November 30th through Saturday, December 7th. Some highlights include 20% off services, free fitness consultation for new clients at Top Tyr Training, and 25% off perfect planners, notebooks, and journals at By When? Planner Co.

The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce received a proclamation from City of Torrance Mayor George Chen recognizing Torrance Small Business Week. Also Pictured are the Co-chairs of Torrance Small Business Week.

One of the primary goals of Small Business Week is to emphasize the vital role small businesses play in Torrance’s economy. These companies create jobs, foster innovation, and contribute to the unique character of the city. Supporting them is crucial not only for the businesses themselves but for the entire community.
