The upcoming Women in Business (WIB) event invites professionals from all industries to join an energizing morning centered on leadership, confidence and community. This month’s theme, “Own Your Voice: Leadership & Confidence Without Apology,” encourages participants to speak with clarity, lead boldly and embrace their influence in shaping conversations and surroundings.
This year’s program will be co-led by WIB co-chairs Francessca Renderos of PEL Manufacturing and Brenda Hidalgo, owner of State Farm Insurance. Together, they bring a shared commitment to creating a welcoming and empowering space for women to grow both personally and professionally.
Renderos said she is excited to help foster a space where everyone, especially women, feels welcomed, valued and empowered, adding, “There’s something truly energizing about being part of a community that understands and uplifts each other.”
Attendees can look forward to meaningful connections, practical insights and inspiration from peers and leaders alike.
Reflecting on her experience with the program, Nadia Antii, a financial advisor with Riviera Wealth Management and a returning participant, said, “I love being able to connect with other women in business, and it’s one of my favorite programs at the Torrance Chamber. I don’t come across too many opportunities to connect with women in particular and love the insights and connections that have come from it.”
