The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Open House is on Thursday, December 10th, 2015, from 4:30pm – 7pm at the Torrance Chamber. A new unwrapped toy is your admission into the event. Two organizations will benefit this season: Joseph’s Gift and 79th Sustainment Support Command.

Joseph’s Gift is a non-profit, founded by the Anzack family in the memory of fallen soldier Corporal Joseph Anzack, Jr. The Anzack Family believes the best way to honor the memory of their fallen hero is to support Joseph’s brothers and sisters in arms. During the holidays, Joseph’s Gifts provides holiday presents for the children of our wounded and fallen warriors, plus the children of active military in financial need. The children that they support are referred by Veteran Administration (VA) advocates, local non-profits and military command.

For the second straight year, TACC has partnered with Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos to donate toys to the 79th Sustainment Support Command (SSC), which is a unit located at the Base. Representatives from the 79th SSC will visit the Torrance Chamber later this month to receive the toys donated by Chamber members.

Thank you to everyone who will donate to this year’s toy drive! If you’d like the full details about the Holiday Open house, visit the event page here.
