This Torrance Chamber’s Women In Business program provides an invaluable networking opportunity for women in today’s workforce. This forum offers collaboration between business professionals, industry advice and serves as a sounding board for new ideas. The idea behind the Women in Business program is to empower women to lead.  Monthly meetings are focused on gender equality and leadership, discussion of timely topics, inspiring one another, and celebrating women in business.

Jeanne Imbrogno, Vice President Customer Services, AMAG Technology is chairing the program with two co-chairs, Sara Myers, President/CEO, The Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach, and Nadia Sandoval, DAUM Commercial Real Estate.

“My vision for the program is to provide a place where area businesswomen feel connected and comfortable discussing issues that are relevant to them by allowing them to share experiences and best practices.  My goals are to present topics that are thought-provoking and meaningful in the current business landscape,” stated Imbrogno.

“It’s incredible to have the opportunity to spend a morning in the presence of women leaders across all different sectors and be inspired by their perspectives and how they solve problems and overcome challenges. It often gives us a renewed way to look at issues in our own sector, as many of the themes are universal,” shared Myers.

The Women in Business is a virtual program.  The next meeting will take place on October 8th at 8:30 a.m.   Registration is available on the chamber’s website www.torrancechamber.com  “We encourage women in the business world to join us to share their thoughts and experiences which will further support personal and professional goals,” commented Sandoval.
