This year, we honor the remarkable contributions and achievements of individuals and organizations within our community with the 2024 Impact Awards. These honorees have made significant impacts in their respective fields, enhancing the growth and prosperity of the Torrance area.
Sacha Ohara of Malaga Bank will receive the J. Walker Owens Volunteerism Award for her exceptional volunteerism and dedication to the Chamber’s mission.
Barbara Graham of Torrance Refining Company will be awarded the George H. Whittlesey Memorial Award for her integrity and leadership in promoting business enterprise in Torrance.
Eric Smith of MassageSmith, LLC is named Ambassador of the Year for his unwavering support and volunteer work within the Chamber.
California Water Service Company will receive the Large Business of the Year Award for its expansive utility services, serving over 2 million people in 100 communities.
Fox Drug of Torrance will be honored with the Small Business of the Year Award for its personalized service as a family-owned pharmacy since 1988.
Switzer Learning Center will receive the Nonprofit of the Year Award for continually striving to build a safe and welcoming environment where staff, students, board members, and the community feel valued for their unique perspectives and backgrounds.
The Legacy Award will be presented to Cetera Advisor Networks, the City of Torrance, and the Switzer Learning Center for 36 years of continuous Chamber membership.
