The Torrance Chamber welcomed Torrance Police Chief Dunn, Lt. Moreno, and Lt. Fisher to a meeting to forge a stronger connection and awareness to the business community. Discussion items included traffic trends, ebike education, increase of catalyst converter thefts, drone technology, officer retention, and crime trends.
Chief Dunn spoke of key performance indicators and the fact that we all need to be stewards of community needs. He added that the power of technology and the establishment of a positive relationship with neighboring businesses is so important.
Business members expressed appreciation to quicker incident response and community lead officers’ willingness to proactively assist with business safety.
