The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in partnership with North Torrance High School, is launching a Student-Mentor program.  The program is designed to connect local business leaders with a high school student to foster growth, provide guidance, and help them build the skills necessary to succeed.

The six session topics will focus on skills such as goal setting, professional communication, resilience, soft skills, why it is important to give back time and management.  These discussions are designed to encourage meaningful, real-world conversations that equip students for success. Session dates are October 21, November 19, December 16, January 13, February 10 and March 10.  North High School will host each session from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor and help guide students toward their future success, please contact donna@torrancechamber.com at your earliest opportunity.
