Join us for the Torrance Fire Department Community Update and Awards Luncheon on May 8th, starting at 11:15 am, at the Torrance Memorial Hoffman Health Conference Center. This event will feature City of Torrance Fire Chief David Dumais, who will offer the Torrance Area business community exclusive insights into the latest department developments and trends that are shaping the South Bay.
Honorees at the event include Kevin Millikan, Assistant Fire Chief, and Michelle Masak, Senior Administrative Analyst, both receiving the Fire Chief’s Award/Award of Excellence. The Special Recognition Award will be presented to Scott Diekmann, Fire Captain, and Christopher Morrow, Assistant Fire Chief. Steven Odien, Firefighter, will be honored as Firefighter of the Year, and Neli Mileva, Policy and Resources Specialist, as Civilian Employee of the Year. The TFD Pipes and Drums will be recognized as Fire Company of the Year. Nathan Norris, Firefighter, will receive the Award of Merit. The Award of Appreciation will go to VectorUSA and Kristen Kraus, Injury Prevention Coordinator for the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery/Surgical Critical Care.
