As I entered the Southbay Woman Gym and Spa I was welcomed by Renee Ware, co-owner. Having met Renee before, I enjoyed her enthusiastic and warm greeting.

Located in Torrance on the Pacific Coast Highway, Southbay Woman Gym and Day Spa offers women an oasis from the daily toils and stress to challenge themselves through fitness and exercise, as well as to relax and improve their overall well-being.

Owners Gorge and Renee have been life-long health enthusiasts and dedicated professionals in the fitness industry. “We opened this location two years ago in January. We have had steady membership which has allowed us to grow and we have an amazing team of employees,” stated Renee.

Southbay Woman Gym and Spa offers a wide range of fitness classes, including Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Toning, Body Blast, Cardio Sculpt, Zumba, and Barre classes. The spa offers a tranquil retreat from everyday stress to relax and recover. Also offered is a prenatal massage that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be!

“The most popular class offered is essentrics. Essentrics dynamically combines strengthening and stretching to develop a strong toned body. This class is typically at capacity,” said Renee.

Southbay Woman Gym and Spa is hosting a Healthy Harvest Happening this Saturday from 8:00 – 3:00 p.m. Pilates, spa products, massage and mini hand massage will be demonstrated. Additionally, guests can learn to line dance and participate in opportunity drawings.

The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce thanks Southbay Woman Gym and Day Spa for being a member. We wish you continued success as you will soon enter your third year of business. Southbay Woman Gym and Day Spa website is www.southbaywomangym.com
