Reminder You’re Invited to a Public Hearing for the Release of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) on the C Line (Green) Extension to Torrance

Metro is planning to extend the C Line (Green) from Redondo Beach (Marine) Station to the new Torrance Transit Center. This extension will provide an alternative to the busy I-405 corridor and expand access to the region by connecting to the existing Metro Rail K (Crenshaw), J (Silver) and A (Blue) Lines.

Metro has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) to describe the three alignments  under study and evaluate the potential environmental impacts per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The DEIR is available for public review from January 26 through March 27, 2023. During the review period, the public will have an opportunity to comment on the Draft EIR and attend virtual and in-person public hearings.

The DEIR and other project documents can be found on the project website by visiting the documents section or go directly to metro.net/clineext/#documents. A 3D simulation video of the three alignments under evaluation is available at bit.ly/cletvideo. Please visit the project StoryMap for additional information at bit.ly/cletstory.
