Donna Duperron, CEO, was presented the Commander’s Public Service award for her distinguished service to Space Base Delta 3, Los Angeles Air Force Base from July 2022 to May 2024. The distinctive accomplishment of Duperron reflects the highest credit upon herself and Space Base Delta 3.
Duperron served as a strong advocate for the base, standing up a Military Affairs Council and Hidden Hero community leader award program, as well as including the base in the Torrance Armed Forces 5K, promoting the command’s priorities and positively affecting the lives of Airmen, Guardians, and their families.
Attending the Ceremony were Jonisha Miller, events coordinator, Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce. Miller was instrumental in the implementation of the chamber’s Military Affairs Council and establishing the Hidden Hero program.
Also in attendance were Dawn Salvatore, General Manager, Moog Aircraft Group and Edward Apodaca, General Manager, Residence Inn by Marriott. Salvatore and Apodaca are members of the chamber’s Military Affairs Council.
