The City of Torrance has recently received a grant from the California Green Business
Network, which provides a certification program that will help businesses become more
environmentally sustainable and responsible. Certification in the Program includes the
i’mplementation of best management practices that address energy efficiency, waste
reduction, water conservation, and a number of other “green” practices that will help your
business and save you money.
The City of Torrance has partnered with the Environmental Services Center of the South
Bay Cities Council of Governments to help administer the grant, and their staff will be doing outreach to Torrance businesses. Please consider learning more about this program and participating to help your business save resources and reduce costs.
