The Health Officer of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health updated Isolation and Quarantine orders for the control of COVID-19 on February 1.

This means that all individuals who reside or work in the Los Angeles County Health Jurisdiction, regardless of vaccination status, previous infection, or lack of symptoms, but have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 are required to follow the Health Officer’s Orders.

Recent changes to the Isolation Order include that all individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 are required to isolate from other people and follow the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health instructions for isolation until it is safe to be around other people.
