Mistee Ruiz is the business owner of Facio – Your HR Solution, a human resource firm that was founded to help small to medium size organizations manage all aspects of leading people. Facio works to protect employees, and business owners alike, to make every workplace a safe, productive, and motivating environment.
Over the course of her career, Ruiz has gained a broad background in human capital strategy, compliance, sales, and operations. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources. In addition, she is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society of Human Resources Management, as well as a certified Strategic Human Resource Business Partner though the Human Capital Institute. Ruiz has worked in various industries from professional service firms to manufacturing, food service, construction, and distribution.
When asked how being involved in the Chamber has been a benefit for her business, Ruiz responded “Partnering with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce has provided us valuable state and local compliance updates and a healthy network of business resources. Remaining with TACC has become a no-brainer since it serves as conduit for businesses to build relationships with each other and provides great opportunities to stay connected in the community.”
Ruiz has been actively involved with the Chamber for several years. This year marks her 2nd year serving on the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She states “I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for TACC. I have personally participated in many Chambers across Southern California, and this truly is a gem”.
