Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit Yukon Elementary School’s first assembly of the school year. The cafeteria was filled with excitement as students listened to welcoming words from Principal, Elaine Wassil and sang spirit songs led by kindergarten teacher, Ms. Kristal Lopez.
However, one of the biggest highlights of the assembly was the presentation of school supplies and gifts cards to the school from Bachem Americas, Inc. Michael Brenk, Vice President Finance, greeted teachers and students stating it was Bachem’s honor to present Yukon with supplies, as well as gift cards that could assist in purchasing additional needed items.
The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce thanks Bachem Americas, Inc. for being such a philanthropic business and recognizes their commitment to the Torrance community.
