As I entered the office on Crenshaw Blvd., I was warmly greeted and within minutes welcomed by Greg Wilson, President. Wilson, a very passionate man, began sharing with me the history of Charles McDonough Accountancy Corporation (CMAC), a full service CPA firm located in Torrance since 1967.

McDonough’s legacy, built on a strong work-ethic and professionalism remains evident today, 50 years after the business was established.”

“Our firm provides a full range of services including auditing, review, tax, finance, accounting, and consultancy. We also offer specialized services in estate planning, fiduciary trust accounting and tax services,” explained Wilson.

The mission of CMAC is to help clients maintain financial visibility in the present, while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. “At CMAC, our clients come first. We recognize that every client is unique and each engagement is important. We do our best to tailor a cost-effective solution for each client,” remarked Wilson.

Joining CMAC in 1979, Wilson has extensive experience with a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, finances industry, real estate, health care, medical and professional services and non-profit organizations. He specializes in taxation, small business planning, partnership taxation and financial accounting services, including audits and reviews of commercial businesses and non-profit organizations.

As I sat listening to Wilson, I couldn’t help but gaze at the walls which had a variety of awards and photographs displayed. In business for over 50 years in Torrance, CMAC has truly been an avid supporter of the Torrance Business community and community at-large.

During my visit, I had the opportunity to meet the team at CMAC. Each was extremely friendly and approachable.

The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce thanks CMAC for being a valued member for 45 years and wishes continued success to this long-term Torrance business. You can learn more about Charles McDonough Accountancy Corporation HERE.
