The Rotary Club of Torrance Del Amo and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the LA Harbor, two longtime chamber members, recently partnered in a Race to End Hunger. The organizations were seeking assistance to help spread kindness to end food insecurity in children who live in our community by seeking donations of peanut butter and jelly.
“Over the two-day event, held at a grocery store, more than six shopping carts of peanut butter and jelly were donated. Additionally, almost $800 in cash donations,” stated Pamela Bash, Boys and Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor.
