As I entered South Bay Cheer 360, I was enthusiastically greeted by Katherine Kaopua. South Bay Cheer 360 is a team of professionals who strive to make improvements in cheerleader’s skills. Instructors and leaders have years of history in the sport and love to share their experiences. Cheer and gymnastics coaches are certified and there is always a CPR certified staff member present.
South Bay Cheer 360 offers structured classes which allow children to maximize the benefits of their time in the gym. “We offer tumbling, cheer, stunt, dance, and flyer classes. We also have our own competitive teams through Torrance Unified School District, Palos Verdes, Lynwood Pop Warner and Torrance and Palos Verdes youth football,” commented Katherine. Additionally, there is a 360 All Stars competitive cheer program. Participants in All Stars practice year round for 4-6 hours a week and attend an average of seven competitions a season. Competitions take place in locations such as Anaheim, Ontario, Las Vegas and Dallas.
