The 7th Annual Armed Forces Day 5K for Freedom is just days away, taking place this Saturday, May 17th. Hosted by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the City of Torrance’s Armed Forces Day Celebration, this event brings together the community for a morning of fitness and patriotic tribute.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to run or walk the 5K course, which kicks off at Del Amo Fashion Center and travels through the heart of Torrance. This year’s honorary military branch is the United States Army, recognized in celebration of its 250th anniversary.
The event will also feature an interactive expo area with community booths, vendor displays, and more. Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, everyone is encouraged to be part of this meaningful tribute to those who serve.
