The City of Torrance is proud to release its inaugural Citywide report, a 2021 Year in Review. The City Manager’s Office, in collaboration with staff from each of the 13 City departments, compiled the information and produced the report to communicate with the City Council and members of the public a highlight of projects across all departments for the 2021 calendar year.

Torrance Mayor Patrick J. Furey said, “The variety of information is impressive, informative and visually inviting. I believe it provides a picture of how City staff takes pride in this community and works hard to make Torrance a wonderful place to live and do business.”

This report is a new tool that City Manager Aram Chaparyan has implemented as a way to better engage with the public and provide an update of the depth of City services and accomplishments from the prior calendar year. Embedded QR codes and hyperlinks allow for convenient access to additional information on all of the included material.

City Manager Chaparyan added, “I feel it is important for us to be able to share our story with our residents and the business community. This report highlights the breadth of services the City of Torrance provides, and does so in a visual and engaging manner.”

In an effort to lower costs and to have a more sustainable footprint, the report has a limited print distribution, but it is available online at TorranceCA.Gov for the public to review.
