This past week, the City of Torrance unveiled a new feature on its website that displays the city’s financial data in easy to read visuals. The site, powered by OPENGOV, is a useful tool for businesses and residences in Torrance to better understand the City’s financial information. Information displayed on the site includes charts that show City audited expenditures across various departments, including police and fire, libraries, parks, public works and more. One of the neat features of the site is that the visual displays of information can be downloaded within seconds for use by the user (e.g., business presentations, informational brochures, etc.).
