This unique interview-style event entitled, “Building Resilience,” celebrates both National Military Appreciation Month and Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month. The luncheon program will provide guests the opportunity to meet and hear from Veterans of the illustrious 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 100th Infantry Battalion, and Military Intelligence Service with special emphasis placed on how to build individual and team resiliency.

“The leadership, perseverance, and incredible resilience displayed by the Soldiers of the segregated Japanese American units during WWII led to one of the strongest examples of team effectiveness ever displayed,” says TACC Chairwoman Heidi Cunningham. “It is a privilege to have their stories and lessons-learned shared with the Torrance business community and for us to be able to pay tribute to our Nation’s heroes.”

“Building Resilience” will be held at the Torrance Marriott with registration starting at 11:30am and the luncheon program occurring between 12:00-1:30pm. Tickets for the event cost $40 per person, or $400 for a table of ten. Reservations may be made by visiting the event page or calling the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce at (310) 540-5858.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator height_2=”25″ height=”25″ show_border=”yes_border”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]brandon-matson[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]
