As you walk toward the entrance of Fox Drug of Torrance, it is very apparent what holiday or season is occurring. The large window display continually changes and is always so creative. As you enter Fox Drug you immediately feel like you are in a store that has a little bit of everything. Fox Drug of Torrance is family owned and has been serving our community since 1988. Dr. Ahmed Atallah and Samia Zaki, owners, combine for over 60 years as professional pharmacists.

“We struggle at times as an independent store,” said Dr. Atallah. “It is often difficult to compete with larger chain stores, but we are continually looking at ways we can grow our business. We emphasize the fact that we offer old fashion service with free local prescription delivery; however, we are also in front of all new technology.” Case in point, Fox Drug of Torrance has created the Fox EZ Pak which is a robot that fills prescriptions in an easy-to-access day and time package. I had the opportunity to view the robot in action and it is quite impressive.

In addition to filling prescriptions, having your blood pressure taken, or receiving an immunization, Fox Drug of Torrance has a counter in which utility bills can be paid or money orders may be purchased. Additionally (and my favorite part of the store), an individual can find just about anything they are looking for. In neatly organized displays, visitors will find gifts, cards, themed decorations, toys, gardening materials, jewelry, cleaning supplies, first aid kits and so much more. If I have ever been in a bind to pick up a quick gift or a card, Fox Drug of Torrance has always been my answer.

The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Fox Drug of Torrance for being an active member who provides quality customer service to residents. We wish you continued success.
